Location

The LANNA AIRPARK is located near Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand. We are 20 km (30 min) by road, east of downtown Chiang Mai, in a beautiful landscape of rice fields, small villages and temples. To the east are the mountains separating Chiang Mai from Lampang to the west is the City of Chiang Mai and the mountain range of Doi Suthep. Chiang Mai is the fast growing capital of northern Thailand with a population of approx. 300’000 people. Besides modern facilities like shopping centers, universities, international schools, an international airport and first-class hospitals, the city has still preserved some of the “charm” of old Thailand. The climate is very pleasant, tropical but with distinct seasons. Because of that and the beautiful surroundings, many foreigners have made Chiang Mai their home. Close to the "Golden Triangle" Chiang Mai is also the center for doing business or travel in the region. You can play many different sports and some of the most beautiful golf courses are in Chiang Mai.

Climate The city of Chiang Mai is situated in the Mae Ping River valley, surrounded by the foothills of the Himalayas. The climate is tropical with three distinct seasons timed by the monsoon:
  • Hot season from March till May

A light breeze during the day and cool nights make the climate in Chiang Mai pleasant throughout the year. There is no need for air-conditioning in a well designed house.
